The flat spring and upper cutting plate can be easily detached by removing the regulating screw.
The secret of having the correct blade pressure.
Easy to cut hair requires a relatively low blade pressure and results in lower wear of the cutting blades.
The cutting performance can be improved once the blades have experienced minor wear by slightly increasing the blade pressure (always turn only 1/4 rotation) using the regulating screw.
NOTE:
The regulating screw must only be tightened so far that the upper cutting plate can still be moved from the side with the application of only an average amount of pressure. Each clipper head has this standard setting when it leaves our plant.
