Aesculap Snap On blade attachment combs GTA129

The new original Aesculap push-on combs for the Snap ON clippers such as Aesculap Fav5, Aesculap Fav5 CL and Aesculap Durati as well as for clippers with the A5 or Clip System such as Heiniger, Wahl, Oster, Andis and Co. are now also differentiated by colour so that the different lengths can be recognised at a quick glance.

Pet groomer Vienna Advice:
The clip-on combs offer a surprisingly good cutting pattern for a completely mat-free dog with a medium-density coat that can be combed through without any problems and can also be used without hesitation in the grooming salon. However, attachment combs are not a substitute for a real blade in the case of thick coats or if a comb is not able to guide through the hair properly. For the end user, clip-on combs are 95% sufficient; the professional pet groomer should only use clip-on combs as an add-on. It should also be noted that the longer the attachment comb, the more difficult it is to achieve an even clipping. Experienced groomers can achieve an even clipping up to a length of around 2 cm, but for longer attachment combs you need to be extremely experienced and have a very steady hand. I recommend using hair scissors from a length of 2 cm, as from this length onwards a scissor cut is much easier and gives a more even cut.
