GogiPet® F Snap On blades made of ice-hardened carbon steel with a hardness of 62 HRC (as used in pocket knives) for dog and pet clipping.
The F blades set contains the 5 most popular Snap On F blades which are used for fine clipping in the grooming salon. The F blades are primarily used for the finishing, i.e. for the final clipping process, so that the visible lines of the cutting disappear and the dog leaves the grooming salon with a perfect style. (The clip itself is usually done with blades without F, with the blades without F every 2nd tooth is missing [skip tooth] and you also get through heavy and very dense fur). Pet groomers should therefore also have the same set with the non-F blades available. For light, unproblematic coats, you can also use the F blades for complete clipping.

These 5 blades are the most used blades in the grooming salon, with the 3 mm the décolleté, the belly and the invisible areas such as underarms, belly and genital area are often clipped. The 9 mm and 13 mm blades are preferred by customers in summer and in the transitional period. The 13 mm and 16 mm blades are perfect for winter. These Snap On blades are used for the main cutting and easily manage difficult coats. For easy coats and for the final touch (the last cut), you should finish in the same length with an F blade so that the dog leaves your salon with the optimal cut.
For private users:
For pets with light, not too dense coats, these blades are optimal as they deliver a perfect cut. For example, the poodle. However, for dogs with heavy and dense coats, it may be difficult to glide through the coat, in which case the Snap On blades without F are recommended. The coarser blades without F usually leave slight streaks in the clipping pattern, but these quickly "grow together". If you want to get an optimal cut immediately after clipping, use the same length with an F blade for the last clipping section.

Just like the groomer, use the 3 mm blade for the invisible areas such as the belly, genital area and armpits to keep the coat easy to groom. To get an especially loving look, shorten the body in summer to 6 mm and the legs to 9 mm. In winter, shorten the body to 13 mm and the legs to 16 mm. The transitions to the body are then worked on with thinning scissors (modelling scissors) to make the transitions invisible. Of course, the length is up to your personal taste, but depending on the density of the coat, always make sure that the skin is not clearly visible after shearing, otherwise there is a risk of sunburn.

Gutes Set an Scherköpfen
Eigentlich habe ich mit diesem Set alle F Scherköpfe welche ich im Hundesalon brauche. Mit dem zweiten Set mit den Snap On Scherköpfen ohne F bin ich voll ausgestattet. Die Scherköpfe haben ein schönes Schnittbild und ich bin total zufrieden.
