The Aesculap Fav5 oscillating mallet fits all Aesculap Fav5 CL models.
A worn Oscillating lever reduces the cutting performance of blades and can even cause wear on the cutting blade. When the tip is worn, it is usually noticeable by a change in the clipping noise. The clipper starts to rattle.
Regular inspection and replacement of the oscillating mallet when necessary will prevent this damage and ensure optimum cutting performance.
Gearbox components should be lightly greased during installation.
