Grippy Pure magnesium block. 'White stripping stone'
The magnesium block is used to trim white or light-coloured wire-haired dogs or all breeds to degrease the coat without drying it out and for cleaning.
The loose magnesium carbonate block is an excellent grooming aid for groomers and animal lovers who attend dog and cat shows. On the one hand, the magnesium block helps when trimming light-coloured animals, as the magnesium block gives better grip when trimming, on the other hand, the magnesium block (or parts of it) can be crushed into powder form, which is used for coat care. The magnesium makes the coat easier to grip and can be plucked (trimmed) more easily.
If the dog or cat needs to look particularly pretty, for example at a dog show, the magnesium can also be used to "bleach" the body, legs, head, etc. After bathing and drying, apply magnesium to the coat and blow it out with a blower on the morning of the dog show. The blower (pet dryer with a powerful fan) removes all dust and dirt and leaves the coat sparkling white.
Pet care magnesium lime block with soft pet care formula
Properties of the lime block - magnesium block:
- Perfect for trimming as it offers more grip
- Can be used to "bleach" show dogs
- Dries the coat without drying it out
- Keeps the coat clean and shiny
- Soft formula for dog grooming
Dog groomer Vienna tip:
To strip light-coloured hair, I hold the dead hair with the help of the lime block and remove the dead hair. For smaller areas, I apply the lime to the hair and remove it with my thumb and index finger.
To cover, I rub the block into the coat along the direction of growth and brush in the lime with a soft brush.
The block crumbles very easily, but this is no reason to throw away the pieces that fall off, the lime can simply be applied to the coat using a soft brush. I keep the crumbled lime in a small plastic bag for further use. I also like to use the lime powder to pluck the ear hairs so that they are easier to grip.
For large areas, use the normal stripping stone after applying the magnesium lime to remove loose hair.
