Model dog, education dog - body (without coat and head).

The dog body forms the base for trying out new styles with separately available coats and heads (see on the right - accessories) or for practising and perfecting tried and tested cuts without time pressure. The new, even more stable version offers you even more practice options thanks to interchangeable heads and the straight tail is anchored more firmly and no longer gets lost.

The education dog is assembled with the tools provided and the desired separately available head is simply attached. Now you only have to "dress" the model dog with the coat of your choice and the training can begin.

The model dog can stand patiently still for hours and is guaranteed not to bite, so it is perfect for grooming school, seminars and for performances.

Extra popular in commercial pet grooming are alternative cuts, which preserve the character of the dog breed, but are individually tailored to the customer's wishes and make pet grooming at home easier. With the model dog, you can easily go through all the possibilities with your customers and see which wishes can be realised.

If you want to use the model dog for training, be guided and inspired by the dog books for pet groomers. Little by little you will become faster and more confident in your work.

When the coat is completely used up, simply dress the education dog again with a new coat, brush up the hair and you can start on the next style.

Assembly instructions for this education dog:

1. Take one leg and attach it to the appropriate place (on the sides of the body where there are cut-outs).
2. Take ome screw and place it in the hole provided in the upper part of the leg.
3. Tighten the screw using the tool provided. You can tighten the legs as much as you like. 
4. Repeat the previous steps for the other 3 legs.
5. Attach the eyes, nose and tail by pushing the pins into the holes provided. It is important to first attach the coat to the Model Dog before attaching the eyes and nose. The best way to do this is to make small holes in the coat for the nose and eyes (with the other side of the screwdriver).

How to attach the coat to the Model Dog:

1. Lay the dog with its stomach down and put its back and front legs up.
2. Then start pulling the coat over the head. It is important that you apply the coat on the head correctly. Otherwise, the rest of the coat will not fit on the dog. Push hard so that the coat stays on the head.
3. Now pull the coat over the front legs. When you have put the coat on the front legs, push them down. Put the hind legs in the coat as well. Once you have applied the coat there, you can push the hind legs downwards.
4. Don't forget to attach the tail on the dog's rear end.
5. Brush the coat with a slicker or Multibrush before you start scissoring and styling.

How to remove the coat of this training dog:

1. First remove the eyes and nose.
2. Undo the buttons on the belly.
3. Lay the dog with its stomach down and put its back and front legs straight up.
4. Pull the coat off one of the legs and do the same for the other 3 legs.
