We divide the hair scissors or dog scissors into different classes to give you a quick overview.

There are not only different types of dog scissors as already described in the introduction of our dog scissors, but also different quality levels which we have divided into classes.

Directly next to the dog scissors is also the class to help you quickly make the right choice for your needs.

Here we explain the biggest differences between the different classes of dog scissors.

Class 1:	Elite hair scissors which are manufactured on the highest level. These dog scissors are to be used by professional dog hairdressers and by very demanding users, who use the scissors very often and attach particular importance to ease of movement, durability and precision.
Typical properties:	Manufactured from high quality special hardened japanese steel 440C Matt hand polished Individually handmade, checked and optimally adjusted Especially smooth-running Very long service life Rubber stopper Can be reground Tool-free readjustment possible Supplied usually in a matching scissors case, with scissors oil and cleaning cloth (important for maintenance and care)
Class 2:	Hairdressing scissors which correspond to class 1 quality, but are produced in a slightly less elaborate way.

Class 3:	High quality dog scissors in good design for regular use. Very often used by mobile dog hairdressers, dog hairdresser beginners and breeders. In contrast to class 1 and 2 hairdressing scissors, these scissors are not quite as smooth and the Japanese steel does not quite match the hardness of class 1 and 2. The cutting quality itself is excellent and durable even with frequent use and care.
