Classes
of dog scissors
There are not only different types of dog scissors as already described in the introduction of our dog scissors, but also different quality levels which we have divided into classes.
Directly next to the pet scissors is also the class to help you quickly make the right choice for your needs.
Here we explain the biggest differences between the different classes of dog scissors.

The cutting quality itself is excellent and durable even with frequent use and care. |

Scissors Care
Hairdressing scissors must be well cared for for a long and perfect use.
With hair scissors, regardless of their quality level, it is important to carry out basic cleaning regularly to ensure a longer life and longer sharpness. Basic maintenance includes cleaning, oiling and drying. Ideally, the hair scissors should also be disinfected with UV steriliser (steam sterilisers are not recommended).
Even though the GogiPet® Elite Japanese steel scissors are made of 440C Stainless Steel, this means that only the material cannot rust easily, but it is important to maintain the contained carbon and cobalt to ensure a long sharpness.
Clean scissors with a soft scissor cleaning cloth after each use to remove hair and foreign bodies and oil the axial joints so that the scissors still glide well and remain sharp for a long time even after many applications. Use a scissors case so that the scissors remain well protected and cannot fall. (At Onlinezoo you can also get scissor cases including a cleaning set.) From time to time pet hair scissors need to be adjusted to ensure a good cut. (For GogiPet dog scissors you do not need any tools for this, just turn the adjusting screw by max. 1/4 turn).
How to adjust the hair scissors correctly:
Under no circumstances should the adjusting screw be turned too tight. This could cause permanent damage to the cutting edge and, in the case of modelling scissors, cause the teeth to become permanently caught. The blades should lie loosely against each other so that straight class 1 and class 2 scissors open by themselves when you open them at an angle of approx. 23º and hold them by a scissor handle. Modelling scissors, class 3 dog scissors and curved scissors should open and close very smoothly without resistance.
If hairs bend off during cutting, the scissors are adjusted too loosely, turn the adjusting screw by 1/16 turn (one click) and continue cutting. If it is still too loose, turn another click.
Dog scissors are precision tools and are very sharp when they are new. To keep them sharp, do not cut matted hair or felt that would damage the cutting edge and shorten the life of your scissors.
Before cutting, the dog must be brushed out washed and felt free.
With thinning scissors and modelling scissors it is particularly important that you never cut into felt or knots, because then the teeth get caught and destroy the hair scissors. Even a cut in a knot can damage the hair scissors to such an extent that they have to be taken to a scissors service.
Scissors become dull after long use, have your scissors sharpened by a specialist in good time. If the scissors should fall down, do not continue working, have them repaired to avoid further damage.

Due to the excellent price-performance ratio of the GogiPet dog scissors of class 1. these scissors are also often bought by breeders and dog lovers who would like to make their own styling of their dog. GogiPet class 1 dog scissors are characterised by the high quality workmanship and durable sharpness of the blades due to the 440C Japanese steel. GogiPet uses only the best steel for its dog scissors, just as it is used for high-quality pocket knives. Softer steels are used in the industrial production of hair scissors in factories, as the scissor halves are punched out with the help of dies made of steel plate. The special steel 440C used by GogiPet® is much too hard and expensive for this purpose, so many scissor manufacturers use a very non-specific designation for the steel to disguise inferior quality. When buying a good pair of dog scissors you should always look for an embossing with 440C or Japanese Stainless Steel, if this is missing you can assume that it is a cheap steel like 440A or 440B which easily leads to wear. Even class 3 dog scissors from GogiPet have this quality mark. Class 1 and 2 dog scissors are even smoother running and optically more finely finished than those of class 3, but this is basically a matter of taste and feeling. Please note, however, that only you and no other person works with the dog scissors. Top Qualität
Ich besitze als Hundefriseur einige Hundescheren teilweise bis zu 500 Euro das Stück, die GogiPet Hundeschere steht den extra teuren in keinster Weise hinten nach, wenn ich wieder eine Schere brauche schlage ich sicherlich wieder bei Euch zu, der Preis ist ein Hammer.

Vor rund 10 Jahren habe ich mir genau diese Haarschere gekauft und war immer zufrieden, leider habe ich die Schere bei irgendeinem Kunden liegen gelassen und ist nicht mehr aufgetaucht, ich bin sehr froh dass es diese tolle Hundeschere noch immer gibt und habe sie gleich nachbestellt. ich habe schon einige gute Haarscheren im Hundepflegesalon, die meisten habe ich von Messen, wo man glaubt, dass man günstig kauft. Die GogiPet ist meine günstigste Schere und auch gleichzeitig meine Beste. Meine zukünftigen Haarscheren kaufe ich nun nicht mehr auf einer Messe sondern direkt bei Euch und GogiPet müssen es sein. Super tolle Hundeschere
Die Schere schneidet extrem gut und ist extrem leichtgängig. Ich liebe diese Haarschere, ich dachte mir zwar dass sie um diesen Preis nicht so gut sein kann, da ich für meine letzte Japanstahlschere mit 8 Zoll rund 600 bezahlt habe, aber ich muss sagen sie liegt mir besser in der Hand und schneidet gleich gut. Ich kaufe nur noch GogiPet Scheren davon bin ich total überzeugt.

Sehr hochwertig
Ich bin ebenfalls Hundefriseur und habe einige echt teure Hundescheren im Hundesalon, diese von GogiPet spielt wirklch alle Stücke die Qualtiät ist nicht schlechter als bei meinen teuren Hundescheren. Ich bin mir zu 100% sicher dass ich auch die nächsten von der Markte nehmen werde.
