Eliminate urine odour from carpets or fabric furniture

Instructions for use:

IMPORTANT!!! Always check the material to be treated for colour fastness beforehand by first testing the product on an inconspicuous area!

For freshly formed urine stains:
Do not use any other (chemical) cleaning agents or odour maskers! Do not shampoo either.
If you still want to shampoo or clean your carpet, you should only do so after you have removed the urine smell and urine stains with UF2000.

First absorb as much urine as possible by soaking it up with kitchen paper. Do not press on the spot with your shoes because your steps could leave urine marks on your carpet or clothes. Only press the kitchen paper onto the spot with your hands and then wash it thoroughly with soap or preferably use plastic gloves.
Use the spray bottle to liberally spray the urine stain and the layer underneath with UF2000 (for the best result - a complete removal of the urine smell and stain - it is necessary that UF2000 covers all the urine that has penetrated the material).
Then allow the area to dry normally.

After the urine smell and/or the urine stain have been removed, remove the remnants of the remedy with a little water and blot it with kitchen paper. It is important to do this because otherwise the residue could attract dirt again.

For old, dried urine stains:
It is possible that long existing urine stains have attacked the colour of your carpet. Even a complete urine removal with Ecodor UF2000 can unfortunately no longer remedy this.

Do not use any other (chemical) cleaning agents or odour maskers! Do not shampoo either.
If you still want to shampoo or clean the carpet, you should only do so after you have removed the urine smell and urine stains with UF2000.

For very old and difficult to remove stains:
Apply enough UF2000 to the stain (spray it on thickly) and cover it with a piece of plastic so that UF2000 can act longer.

Note that when an old urine stain is first treated with UF2000, the urine smell might become more intense at first. This is common with old, heavy urine stains: It is a sign that the urine is slowly dissolving and coming to the surface.

Remove the plastic after a few hours and dab the wet spot dry with a (paper) cloth.
Repeat the treatment possibly a few days in a row until the urine stain is no longer visible or the urine smell is completely removed (in some cases 3 to 4 applications may be necessary).

After the urine smell and the stain have been removed, remove the remnants of the remedy with a little water and dab it off with (kitchen) paper or a dry cloth. It is important to do this because otherwise the residue may attract dirt again (and circles may appear).
