When clipping with the clipper, the blades should be oiled every 15–20 minutes to cool the blades and scissors and to allow the blade to slide easily into the clipper housing. I use an oil spray for clipping as it is very quick and easy to use. After the work is done, I clean the blades well with a cleaning brush and oil the blades with the special oil in the packaging so that they are protected against corrosion. I clean the dog scissors with a scissor cleaning cloth and oil them well along the blade and during the gait, so I can optimize the sharpness and life of blades and scissors.
